The name 'Vinwood' is a blending of my surname and my husband's forename Vincent. We decided to give our much unloved garden a well needed makeover in 2006.  Although neither of us had any experience of gardening, over years of trial and error our garden slowly evolved to the point where we felt ready to apply to be part of the National Garden Scheme (NGS).
